MAPPA Confirms Chainsaw Man Anime Series Will Premiere In October 2022

MAPPA announced during a recent Jujutsu Kaisen event in Japan that the anime version of the hit manga series 'Chainsaw Man' will be released in October 2022.

There are thousands of manga series available to read online from all over the world, but there aren't many that are quite like Chainsaw Man, written by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga has become a fan favorite in recent years due to its darker themes in comparison to some other series, as well as gore, violence, and a cast of fantastic characters.

MAPPA, one of the biggest studios currently working in the industry, released a teaser for the anime adaptation of the manga in 2021.

Although a specific release date has not yet been announced, some sources predict that the episode could air on either October 9th or October 16th, as Sundays have been the optimal day for releasing episodes in Japan. This follows trends set by Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Chainsaw Man Part 2

Much like the anime adaptation, Part 2 of the manga is also set to begin this year, as confirmed by the official Chainsaw Man twitter account:
