The Anime Chainsaw Man Is Getting a Film for the 'Reze Arc'
The Jump Festa '24 event on Sunday confirmed that the television animation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man manga will be adapted into an anime film based on the manga's "Reze-hen" (Reze Arc). Reze is played by Reina Ueda. "Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc" is the title of the film.
There's also no indication on whether a second season of Chainsaw Man, which aired its initial 12-episode season in 2022, will be produced or premiered. It's possible that Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc will lead to an eventual announcement of a second season, similar to how the premiere of 2020's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train precludes a second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which was later re-edited into its own 7-episode television arc.
Crunchyroll is now streaming Chainsaw Man.
From the mind of One Piece creator, a mysterious tale unfolds on Netflix, this January. Eiichiro Oda's 'Monsters' - expect the unexpected.
