Hunter x Hunter Manga Returns on October 24th After Almost 4 Years

On October 24, the Hunter x Hunter manga will pick up where it left off after a hiatus of nearly four years.

Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter manga will return after a nearly four-year hiatus in the 47th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on October 24, according to Shueisha (JST). The manga has been on hiatus since November 2018, and when it resumes, it will have been on hiatus for three years and eleven months.

In May, Togashi stated in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that he had completed rough drafts for 10 chapters, which is the standard amount for a volume. He had teased at the time that he had completed seven (six at first) manuscripts out of those ten chapters. He has since kept the account updated with teases of the chapters' progress. He did not say when the chapters would be released.

The manga's second TV anime adaptation debuted in Japan in 2011 and lasted 148 episodes. The final episode aired in 2014.
