Demon Slayer Season 3 Will Focus On Swordsmith Village Arc

The acclaimed "Swordsmith Village" arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be adapted by Studio Ufotable.

The final episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 has aired, bringing one of the story's most exciting arcs to a close. With the series' enormous popularity over the years, especially since the release of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in 2020, it's no surprise that a third season would be in the works. Fans will be relieved to learn that the next arc in the Entertainment District, The Swordsmith Village arc, is already in the works, according to Studio Ufotable.

Tanjiro will meet and come to know two more Hashiras in the third season of Demon Slayer, according to the key visual. The teaser trailer features the same two photos accompanied by music. While Mugen Train introduced Rengoku and Entertainment District showcased Uzui, Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji will be the focus of Swordsmith Village. While the two made brief cameos in the first season, viewers were only given a glimpse of their characters on the surface.

Season 3 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has yet to get a debut date.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set in Taisho-era Japan which is besieged by demons; deadly former humans who have given up their humanity in exchange for supernatural abilities such as super strength, magic, and regeneration. Tanjiro Kamado's life is permanently changed when one of these creatures slaughters his entire family, save for his little sister Nezuko, who survives the attack by transforming into a demon herself.

The series follows the two siblings as Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Survey Corps in order to find a means to change Nezuko back into a human while also tracking down the demon that attacked his family.

The anime is available on streaming platforms such as Netlix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation.
