Attack On Titan: The Final Season Part 2 Is Now MAL's Second Most Rated Anime
With a 9.10 rating, Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 went to #2 on My Anime List's "Top Anime Series" of all time, only behind Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (ranked 9.15).
Attack on Titan: Season 3 Part 2 ranked #3 on Thursday, following the tremendous spike in popularity for the current season.
In addition, the Attack on Titan anime has surpassed Death Note in MAL's "Popularity Ranking." Rather than user ratings, the "Popularity Rating" is based on the number of users who follow a series.
Aside from MAL, the latest season of Attack on Titan is breaking other milestones, including becoming the world's most "in-demand" television show in 2021, according to Parrot Analytics' 4th annual Global TV Demand Awards.
Attack on Titan, based on the manga by Hajime Iseyama, is now in its fourth and final season, and it continues to wow spectators with its unexpected turns. The last season began on January 9, 2022, rendering the servers of Funimation and Crunchyroll momentarily unavailable.
The season will consist of 12 episodes and will come to an end on March 27, 2022.
