The story is set in Yuigaoka Private Girls High School (私立結ヶ丘女子高等学校, Shiritsu Yuigaoka Joshi Kōtō Gakkō) that lies between the Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama neighbourhoods of Tokyo. The school was once a demolished school and has once again opened. In such a school with no history, nor nobody knows its name, Kanon Shibuya and the other four first-years girls meet the existence of "school idols." The overflowing feelings of the small stars of today and their first step as school idols are about to start.
